On the other side of the Kennet Valley from the workshop are the fantastic chaps at Deer Box. We’ve had a fantastic time designing a knife for use by Warren Broad and his team as they process up to 3000 deer a year. Warren was born in to the world of deer, and has been concentrating on it professionally for over 13 years – making a knife that he’s happy with gave us considerable satisfaction. As with all our custom knives, the blade is made from small batch-hardened 14c28n at 60 HRC. Hand sharpened, the blade will do well over 25 deer before the blade needs even the smallest of tickles.

We’ve chosen our mega-durable and grippy Bottle Green Micarta and there’re 3 accent colours to choose from – each of which doesn’t (or shouldn’t!) exist in nature, thereby making the knife easier to find if you manage to misplace it temporarily.

Each sheath is individually made and hand-stitched and fitted in-house by the amazing Tiffany from the finest English Bridle Butt.
