A sublime utility knife
With some lovely Nakiri influence, the GC14 is perfectly nestled in the sweet spot between our SK18 Nakiri Knife and the NC12 Utility Knife. We’ve meticulously designed this blade so you can cut with the classic rocking action as well as the more prosaic straight up and down technique. It’s similarly comfortable racing through a kilo of carrots as chopping chives into tiny pieces, and absolutely made for vegetables and herbs.
If you’re looking for a companion to a larger knife, or just want to double down on nuking veg then this is the one for you. It should go without saying that it’s a perfect companion for Asian food, and also the mysterious cuisine known as ‘fusion’…
