Three of our most popular knives, with minimal functional overlap (always the sign of a great set) simply accompanied by our ever-durable and pleasingly grippy yew handles, sourced from a 300 year-old specimen that grew in a Hampshire graveyard not that far from the workshop.

No frills, just exquisite workmanship; knives we’ve created from scratch in our workshop, with their fantastically fine and well-hardened blade edge, astoundingly light and perfectly balanced.

The Classic is – we believe – an exemplary take on a mid-sized European chef’s knife; comfortable, balanced and precise with a fantastic rocking action along the length of the blade. It is just as perfectly at home preparing a rack of lamb as it is a stack of turnips, and will find a home with new and experienced cooks alike.

We’ve loved the Savernake Knife since the moment we made it, and to this day it’s generally at the front of the pack when we’re getting someone to try our knives for the first time. It encompasses all we believe about weight, precision, balance and fun. Herbs, meat and vegetables all fall by the wayside when it arrives on the scene, and has long been our all-rounder of choice.

And then there’s the Nimble Chopper; Made for herbs and veg, while serving effortlessly as a utility blade, it’s the perfect companion for those who prefer a smaller, lighter knife. A diminuitive version of the excellent Nakiri design school, it’s lightweight and compact and therefore also perfect for dicing, garnishes and fruit.
