The Original Savernake Outdoor Knife

Created back at the dawn of time (well, 2018) the Field Utility was our first ever outdoor knife, design by Richy and Laurie to be the ultimate robust workhorse. We’ve refined the design over the years, but his remains a blade that will serve you well in a pinch and whose contoured and fitted handle positively scoffs at mud and rain.

The heavily contoured grip will work with both free and gloved hands and is absolutely fantastic in the cold. We’ve sold quite a few of these knives to serving soldiers (from Guardsmen to Royal Marines) and the feedback has been fantastic.

As with all our outdoor knives, the Field Utility has a slightly concave blade for improved cutting prowess. It is accompanied by a custom leather sheath made by by Tiffany in the workshop.

This particular version has a Fat Carbon handle but – as ever – if you’d like it clothed in something else, then just drop us a line.
