Our Mezzaluna pair allows for effortless, precise chopping and mincing. Crafted from Takefu’s 67-layer san mai, this mezzaluna’s razor-sharp, curved blade is made from a core of VG10 at 60 HRC and slices through herbs, vegetables, and more with unmatched ease. The ergonomically designed handles ensure a comfortable grip, allowing you to chop for longer without fatigue and you really need to try it when making steak tartare … or slicing up your pizza … or past dough.

But there’s more! The specially crafted cutting board is perfectly contoured to match the curve of the blade. This unique pairing ensures that every chop is smooth, efficient, and precise—no more uneven cuts or ingredients slipping away.

Accompanied by some lovely bits of English brown oak that we’ve (for the handles) treated with resin for extra durability, or just oiled to within an inch of its life for the board. The cutting surface is our best friend, Mr. Richlite, food-safe and kind to your blade and a material that responds incredibly well to a vigorous scrubbing.

As ever, we try to take a very simple concept and then just try to make it as good a version of it as possible, and we’re (in our modest way…) rather pleased with the result.
