Union Quad

Durable. Striking. Awesome.

This striking set comes and goes from the website, mainly dependent on how we feel about tackling the epic handle construction. Apparently simple, the union flag handles are the most complicated we make (in terms of making, if not by vexillological standards). Using a mixture of polymer resin, Italian marble powder and RAL pigments, the handles take well over a week to make, during which time they must remain in precisely the same place on the CNC router, as a movement of even a tenth of a millimetre over the course of the 5 pours and cuts will send everything up the Swanee.

Accompanying the handles are 4 of our most popular all-round custom kitchen knives – the eponymous Savernake Nakiri, the Classic Ultra, Compact Chef and Nimble Chopper. From elegantly dismembering a succulent roast chicken, via the decimation of celeriac and its ilk and on to immaculate garnish chopping, the Quad has got you covered.
